Catching Up...Again.

I can't believe summer is over!  Today was Kinnison's first day of 2nd Grade. She said she had a great day. She has some friends in her class and she loves her new teacher. Kimber starts Wednesday. She seems pretty excited about it. She went to VBS and Cheer Camp with no tears....so I'm praying we have a good day. I hope she loves it! I am teaching Pre-K at a Christian Daycare center in Farmington. Today was my first day. The day flew by. I have a great group of kiddos. I think we are going to have a great year!

Last week we went to Little Rock for Kimber's yearly checkup at Arkansas Children's Hospital. Dr. Patel said she was doing great. As long as we don't have any infections we can stay off the antibiotics and won't need surgery! We stayed at a great hotel. The kids had a lot of fun playing in the pool.

Waiting for her ultrasound.

At the end of July we celebrated my Grandma's 80th birthday at Mt. Magazine State Park.

I love how much he loves my family.

Whew. I think that catches us up for now. We are adding onto the house. I'll post some pictures when we are finished. I'll also be posting picture of Kimber on her first day!

Vacation.

We got home from vacation on Monday. I did not want to leave the beach, but after two long days of driving I was ready to be home. It rained a lot, but a rainy day at the beach is OK with me. We had a wonderful time and made lots of great memories. On the way home we stopped at the Duck Commander Warehouse. The kids thought that was really neat. We all did.

We are already counting down the days until next year!

Happy Father's Day!

We are playing our softball tournament this week. Tonight will be the last night I wash uniforms for a while. I have mixed emotions about this. I love watching the kids play, but it seriously stresses me out. Luke is under constant criticism as the coach and that stresses me out too. Our girls had a terrific season. Kimber's team was undefeated in t-ball and Kinnison's team won 1st place in their division. If we win our first game tonight we will play in the championship game. I couldn't be more proud of all of them. They have worked hard.

I want to wish Luke a Happy Father's Day. He is the most amazing father in the world! He loves spending time with our kids and he always makes them a priority. He works harder than anyone I know. He has been juggling two jobs and two ball teams. I don't know how he does it, but I appreciate it more than he will ever know. He is a terrific provider for our family. He is my best friend. Seriously, I couldn't live without him. He has been there for me unconditionally for 11 years. I love the way he makes me and the kids laugh all the time. I love that he can fix anything. I love the way he loves our kids. I love the way he stands up for what he believes in.  We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

I also want to say Happy Father's Day to my dad . He is was a great father growing up and he's a great Pappy to my kids. He works hard for his family and he is always helping people. He can fix anything. We are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Happy Birthday, Kanyon!

My baby boy is two! How is that possible? He is such a fun boy! He is full of wonder. He is constantly trying to figure out how things work and he loves helping his Daddy in the garage. He is OBSESSED with tractors and trucks and pretty much anything that moves. He loves to go on rides with his Daddy. He is constantly on the go and getting into things. He keeps me very busy. He is so sweet and so smart. He is talking like crazy. Some of his new words are: some, fish, ride, bike, bite, Grandpa, Meme and beach. When I ask him how much he loves me he spreads his arms out and says, “a bunch”. He loves his sisters so much and they are great sisters. They are a huge help to us both. He has been such a blessing. He has brought so much love and laughter into our lives! We are so blessed to be his parents!

Here are pics from his party and his video montage.

School's Out For Summer!

The first week of summer vacation has come and gone. Luke and I got the kids some surprises to celebrate summer!

Unfortunately the weather hasn't been great. We haven't got to spend much time outside. The kids have spent lots of time bickering! Yesterday we went shopping because I decided I couldn't handle one more day in the house. The kids got some new school clothes. They wanted to play in the photo booth. The pictures are cute!

We have six games again next week. So. Ready. To. Be. Done! T-Ball is 4-0 and softball is 5-3. Softball is totally different than T-Ball. I like it, but the girls get discouraged when they don't hit it...which is often because the machines are so inconsistent.

Kanyon turns two this month. Hard to believe. He is talking like crazy. He can say; sissy, potty, I pee'd, bubbles, peekaboo, where's dad and many more. He's potty training himself. He takes his diaper off and gets on the potty and pees. He hasn't pooped in there yet.

We are counting down the days until vacation!

Here are some pictures from our excursion to Devil's Den.

Hope you all have a fun and safe summer!
