Gamble. Part II.

I thought I loved Luke when we got married. I didn't think it was possible to love him more. I was wrong. 

Our relationship started out as a friendship and then turned into love. And, the love between has grown every single day. Our relationship is better now that it has ever been. We have three small children, so that is saying something. Of course we have conflicts. We aren't afraid to communicate.  Always makes me think of the quote from The Notebook:

Luke has always been totally supportive of me. Personal life, family, career, you name it. He has been there for me. He always has my back. He accepts me as I am. I've said it a million times, but I wouldn't be able to stay at home without him. He has done everything in his power to provide for our family.  And, we never go without. I love the he tells me he loves me all the time, he compliments me, he can fix anything, he works hard, the list could go on forever, but one of the things I have always loved most about Luke is his ability to make me laugh. It doesn't matter how angry I am or how sad I am, he can always make me laugh. The same goes for the kids. He loves us unconditionally. Luke loves my family. He does whatever he can to help them. Right now he is fixing up the farmhouse for my Grandpa and Grandma. My Grandpa asked him to do it and he has done an amazing job! He gives unselfishly to those he loves. He is an amazing man. I took a gamble ten years ago and I hit the jackpot. I'm the luckiest woman in the world!!

Thankful.

I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He is kind, hard working, generous, loyal, loving, funny and the best husband and father in the whole world!  I am thankful for my children, here and in Heaven. Each one of them have changed me and made me who I am today. I am thankful for Kinnison's ambition. I am thankful for Kimber's laughter. I am thankful for Kanyon's adventurous personality.  I am thankful for my amazing  family. I have wonderful parents!  I am thankful for every single day I get with my Grandparents. I am thankful for my farm. I am thankful for my friends. I am thankful for my pets. I am thankful for the men and women who defend our country, firefighters and police officers. I am thankful for all the blessings God has given me.

I am truly blessed!

Happy Birthday, Kinnison

My baby girl is 7 years old today! How is that possible?

Kinnison loves to read to us. She is so smart and she remembers EVERYTHING! She is doing really well in first grade. She has lost 8 teeth now! She is a wonderful big sister! She still loves peace signs.  Her favorite color is pink. She loves to sing and dance. She loves to eat candy, ice cream, cinnamon rolls, and donuts. Her favorite breakfast foods are pancakes and waffles. She loves pizza, macaroni  and tacos! Her favorite restaurant is Outback. She can eat 2 loaves of their bread by herself. She is sweet, happy and compassionate. She has an amazing personality and a contagious laugh. She can be sassy and stubborn at times, but I love that she is independent. She has brought so much joy, laughter and love into our lives. We are so blessed to be her parents! Happy Birthday sweet girl. We love you to the moon and back!

Happy Halloween!

Whew! I am glad Halloween is over.  I love it, but it is always a very hectic day for us. We had Kinnison's class party, a doctor appointment, birthday party at Charity's house for Meme and then Trick or Treating. Luke had to work, so I had all the kiddos by myself. I couldn't have done class Kinnison's party without Gammy's help! She helped me set up and watched Kimber and Kanyon for me. It all went relatively smoothly and the kids had a blast. I call that a success! 

Meme turned 80 on Halloween!
