Spring Break.

We decided that we wanted to spend Spring Break at the Buffalo River. It is one of our favorite places in the world. Every time we go my Grandpa asks us about the elk. He is going to be 85 in April and he has never seen an elk! We invited them to eat lunch with us one day. Mom volunteered to drive them. So, Tuesday they came to our cabin for lunch. The kids were so excited. Luckily, they saw elk on the way to the cabin! Lunch was wonderful. Grandpa said, "We should have found out where the old cabin is." I had no idea what he was talking about. Mom did. She thought ahead and got directions! Apparently my Great, Great, Great Grandpa's house (located in PG) was sold and moved to Wayton, Arkansas. It wasn't too far from the cabin, so we decided to go look for it. Monday we hiked a super easy and amazingly beautiful trail. Luke talked my Grandma into hiking it! So, we stopped to hike on the way to the cabin. We finally found the cabin and my Grandparents were amazed. They didn't think they would ever see it again. They reminisced about old times. My Grandpa said he spent many nights there. My Grandma said it was used as a hospital during the war! It was a wonderful day! I am so thankful that my Mom and Grandparents were able to come. We made memories that will last a lifetime.

The entire trip was wonderful. We had a lot of fun and made some wonderful memories. We can't wait to go back in the fall!
